Welcome to the ISEF Guide. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of this website, en.isef.org.cn (the “site”). By using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
This is an independent educational guide. It is not the official ISEF website and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Society for Science or Regeneron. For official rules, registration, and results, always rely on Society for Science.
About this site
The ISEF Guide is an independent, English-language educational resource that explains the International Science and Engineering Fair — how it works, who can take part, the categories, and how finalists prepare. We created it to make ISEF easier to understand for students, families, and educators around the world. We are not the organizer of the competition.
Who may use the site
The site is open to anyone seeking general information about ISEF. Much of our audience is students under the age of 18; if you are a minor, please use the site and contact us with the guidance of a parent, guardian, or teacher.

It is not professional, legal, or academic advice, and it is not a substitute for the official rules and guidance published by Society for Science. You are responsible for any decisions you make based on the information here.
Always confirm current details. ISEF’s rules, categories, eligibility, deadlines, and award amounts can change from season to season. Verify time-sensitive details on the official Society for Science website before you register or make decisions.
